SuperBox

The Image Lightbox Re-Imagined

SuperBox takes the idea of a modal lightbox gallery and turns it on it's head. Instead of moving user interaction away from your layout, SuperBox puts the lightbox right there, smack-dab in the middle of your gallery thumbnails. SuperBox is a fully responsive HTML5 image gallery that uses minimal markup and only loads full size images as needed.

You'll find SuperBox is quick and simple to use. But it still gives you options to use locally dragged-and-dropped images or warehoused images; together with a basic array of style settings. You can safely use multiple SuperBox stacks on the same webpage. SuperBox is useful for creating galleries for individual events, products or portfolios.

Setup

Follow these instructions for getting SuperBox working in your RapidWeaver website.

  1. Once installed in RapidWeaver, open the Stacks Library and search for 'superbox'.
  2. Drag and drop a copy of the stack into your Stacks page.
  3. Click the blue button to add SuperBox Images.
  4. Configure each image accordingly. SuperBox supports local or warehoused images.
  5. Select the main SuperBox stack in edit mode to customize the shape of your thumbnails and some other basic settings.
  6. Preview your webpage. Publish or export the website when done.
