med-designs Lights2 RapidWeaver theme picks up where the original Lights theme left off. While maintaining as much of the original Lights design as possible, Lights2 has added some of today's greatest features and flexibility to one of yesterday's greatest theme designs.

The Pro features of Lights2 include ExtraContent, lighting effects, 5 customizable top headers, 5 customizable content headers, header height variation, RWmultitool ready, full color options, width control, sidebar positioning.
About Lights2 and ExtraContent
Lights2 includes 1 ExtraContent area; the top Custom Header. This ExtraContent area in Lights2 is vertically scalable, meaning you can make the ExtraContent as long or as short as you like.
As always, these ExtraContent areas are an option. You can choose to use them or leave it off allowing you to use Lights2 as you would any other RapidWeaver theme.
ExtraContent is Optional
Just because we made it possible, doesn't mean you have to use it. You can toggle the ExtraContent areas on or off in the event that you do not require them. The theme will remain just as functional with or without ExtraContent. It's just another tool for your toolbox.
About ExtraContent
ExtraContent is hard to describe until you have seen it in action. You see, in a typical RapidWeaver theme, you can only enter text, pictures, movies, etc, in two places; the main content area and the sidebar area. That's o.k. for many, but for the serious web designer or the creative enthusiast this formula is just too limiting. ExtraContent allows you to go beyond just the main content and sidebar. ExtraContent allows you to add text, pictures, complex layouts and much more, in places never before accessible in the usual RapidWeaver theme.
