General Overview
The Pro features of GiD3OUS include ExtraContent, RWmultitool ready, 10 custom headers and footers, 3-tier navigation, full color options, width control, font size and font family selections.
About GiD3OUS and ExtraContent
GiD3OUS has 2 ExtraContent areas, Pre Content and Post Content; Pre Content being before the main content area and Post Content coming between the main content area and the footer. Each area can be turned on or off via the Theme Styles panel.
Each ExtraContent area in GiD3OUS is vertically scalable, meaning these areas will grow to suit the content within. And as always, these ExtraContent areas are an option. You can choose to use them or leave them off allowing you to use GiD3OUS as you would any other RapidWeaver theme.
ExtraContent is Optional
Just because we made it possible, doesn't mean you have to use it. You can toggle the ExtraContent areas on or off in the event that you do not require them. The theme will remain just as functional with or without ExtraContent. It's just another tool for your toolbox.
About ExtraContent
ExtraContent is hard to describe until you have seen it in action. You see, in a typical RapidWeaver theme, you can only enter text, pictures, movies, etc, in two places; the main content area and the sidebar area. That's o.k. for many, but for the serious web designer or the creative enthusiast this formula is just too limiting. ExtraContent allows you to go beyond just the main content and sidebar. ExtraContent allows you to add text, pictures, complex layouts and much more, in places never before accessible in the usual RapidWeaver theme.
