About CR3ATiV3 and ExtraContent
CR3ATiV3 includes 2 ExtraContent areas; the Subcontent 1 and the Subcontent 2. These two areas can be fully color controlled, from their background color to their text colors. Each can be shown or hidden and Subcontent 1 can also be used as an accent, partially visible yet with no text displayed.
Each ExtraContent area in CR3ATiV3 is vertically scalable, meaning you can make each ExtraContent as long or as short as you like. And as always, these ExtraContent areas are an option. You can choose to use them or leave them off allowing you to use CR3ATiV3 as you would any other RapidWeaver theme.
ExtraContent is Optional
Just because we made it possible, doesn't mean you have to use it. You can toggle the ExtraContent areas on or off in the event that you do not require them. The theme will remain just as functional with or without ExtraContent. It's just another tool for your toolbox.
About ExtraContent
ExtraContent is hard to describe until you have seen it in action. You see, in a typical RapidWeaver theme, you can only enter text, pictures, movies, etc, in two places; the main content area and the sidebar area. That's o.k. for many, but for the serious web designer or the creative enthusiast this formula is just too limiting. ExtraContent allows you to go beyond just the main content and sidebar. ExtraContent allows you to add text, pictures, complex layouts and much more, in places never before accessible in the usual RapidWeaver theme.
